Join this group to get information each month about friendly and informal social meets and events organised in Norwich (England) and near by.
Meets are open to anyone interested in making new friends, having a fun time out and increasing their social life. Please note - it is *not* a dating site, though if you should happen to meet your soul mate through one of our events, then that's a bonus!
The typical age range of our group is 40's and 50's. Most people in the group are single, some are in relationships. We all seem to be friendly and young in outlook, with a fair sprinkling of intelligent, independent-minded professionals.
Many of the meets are free or low cost, and we try to organise a wide range of things to do (based around things to stimulate the mind and imagination rather than alcohol and clubbing) so there should be something to interest most people. Events cover a very broad spectrum, from films, meals out, exhibitions, street theatre, pub socials, Quiz Nights, walks, bowling and more.
At the moment membership is free – I am considering making a small charge for membership in the future to provide funds for publicity and other running costs.
