This fitting's appearance is much like that of a normal domestic security light but
contains a powerful 1300w infrared halogen lamp. It is economical to run at less than 10p per hour and emits both radiant heat and a pleasant golden ambient light.
The unit is easy to install sitting on a durable adjustable metal bracket to allow you to target the heat effectively. It comes complete with a generous 5m cable and a 13A plug fitted as standard. The unit is CE approved and has a IP44 rating, which allows it to be used and left both indoor and out.
Ideal for mounting in patio and garden areas with additional uses in garages or
workshops it will heat up to 9 square meters if mounted at the recommended height of 2.5metres.
You can fit the unit simply as a domestic 13Amp plug (supplied) or if fitted by a
qualified electrician it can be incorporated easily into an internally switched system.
Easily removable for winter storage if required but is fully weatherproof and can also be left in place.
