  • Guide to Community Private Lisitings

    • Advertisers are ultimately responsible for ensuring that the adverts they place are suitable for listing on freeukclassifieds, ie. that they are legal and decent.
    We will not allow any type of affiliate link or Linking to Auction websites.
    We do not allow postings Advertising the sale of ANYTHING illegal including the following: Drugs, Weapons, Obscene, erotic items/material, Cigarettes or tobacco products.
    Animal Posts: We do not accept advertisements for animals controlled under the Dangerous Wild Animals Act.
    We do not allow buying or selling of any animals outside the UK.
    Adult Videos and DVDs: Non BBFC classified videos or DVDs may not be advertised.
    Requests for Money: We can not accept adverts requesting money unless placed by a registered charity please add registration number when posting.
    Copyright Infringement: Copies or backups of software and games may not be advertised.
    Language: Adverts using graphic or obscene or racist language are not allowed.

  • Are Postings accepted outside the United Kingdom?

    • Only Ads can be posted under: Property Abroad, Holidays Abroad, Holiday lettings, Boats For Sale, Property for sale, Employment Categories, Friends Partners, Penpals. We feel these categories benefit the United kingdom as a whole. Please use the drop down box, chose Advertiser outside the UK and under Urban location give Country details when posting.

    • No duplicate ads: please do not list the same Item and description under 20 different cities/regions, this is classed as spam by most search bots and given very poor results or even totally disregarded?
